We teach languages (English and Spanish) through the language arts:
...speaking ...reading ...writing ...listening ...pronunciation ...idioms.
While the emphasis is on formal English/Spanish, we also teach students about informal conversation.
Each course has:
...40 hours of classroom instruction ...small groups (no more than 10) ...highly qualified, successful teachers who are also native speakers)
The program is not a survival English or survival Spanish program; our goal is for the students to become comfortable using the target language and to use it well. To that end, the program of studies offers 21 levels/courses in each language.
We can offer private classes beginning any time of the year and at any time of the day or evening; please contact Mr. Matthews.
Our 40-hour TOEFL preparation course helps the student to master the skills needed to successfully take the TOEFL test. To qualify, a student must be able to qualify for high intermediate or advanced in our school's program.
Our school uses the criteria proposed by the American Association of Teachers of Foreign Languages for its levels, evaluations and course content.
